The 1ST XV team currently play in Hampshire 1 following the re-structure of the Hampshire Leagues at the start of the 2018/19 Season. With older players now retiring from first team action or moving onto new pastures, this is a new, developing young team that is aiming to bring back the regular success it once had and climb up the Hampshire Leagues.
The 1ST XV operate from a squad of 25 players, fielding 18 each week, making full use of the league’s new laws allowing rolling substitutions.
ORFC 1ST XV 2018-19 Season
TRaining
Training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday between 7pm and 9pm during the season. Pre- season training starts in the middle of July with an emphasis on fitness training moving into training of core rugby skills.
