The 2ND XV team currently play in Hampshire 2 following the re-structure of the Hampshire Leagues at the start of the 2018/19 season after many successful years in the Merit Leagues. The 2ND XV is a team that prides itself on playing a fun, hard hitting and exciting blend of rugby. The team is comprised of players looking for a more social side of rugby so is perfect for those players looking to get into or back into Rugby, a good introduction for younger players to learn men’s rugby or those who enjoy playing games every now and then.
The 2ND XV operate from a squad of 25 players, fielding 18 each week, making full use of the league’s new laws allowing rolling substitutions.
