It is fairly well sign-posted. Please drive with care on approach roads as there may be overflow parking on the road.

Car Parking:
This will be available first-come, first served, at the club, subject to weather and ground conditions.   The club will be operating a one-way system for cars, entering the club via Hillier Way and leaving via Nun’s Lane.  Please adhere to the one-way system and obey the instructions of the parking marshals to avoid bottlenecks entering and leaving the ground.

There will be a charge of £3.00 per car for parking for which you will receive a programme and entry to the festival. Further programmes will also be available for sale for £3.00.

There are also a number of local pay and display car parks within walking distance of the rugby club.  These are:

  • Riverpark Leisure Centre, Gordon Road, SO23 7DD   (L  on the below map)
  • Winchester Hotel  / Coach Park, Worthy Lane, SO23 7AB (I on the map below)
  • Worthy Lane, Worthy Lane, SO23 7AB (G on the map below)

Winchester City Council has asked the organisers to inform visiting clubs that parking on any grassed areas in the vicinity of the Rugby Club and the River Park Leisure Centre is not permitted. Also, we ask that you do not obstruct resident access in the local area.

  • From Overton/Whitchurch area, follow the M3 until Junction 13 where you follow signposts to Southampton and M27 EAST.
  • In 1 Mile (Junction 14) follow signposts to Southampton (A33) leaving the motorway.
  • At the roundabout, bear left into Bassett Green Road (A27 signposted Swaythling and Airport). Stay on this road for about 2 miles.
  • You will pass the Stoneham Arms pub on your left.
  • At the crossroads (traffic lights), turn left into Stoneham Lane. Immediately after going underneath the motorway bridge, turn left (signposted) to Trojans Club.
  • Parking and the clubhouse are 500 metres up the lane on the right.

  • Travelling along the A303 Westbound (towards Amesbury & Exeter) IGNORE all junctions to Andover (staying on the A303) until you see the signs for Andover & Newbury A343 – Devizes A342 – Marlborough A346.
  • Leave the A303 at this junction. At the end of the slip road, take the third exit signposted Ring Road – Newbury – Marlborough – Devizes – Portway Ind. Estate.
  • At the next roundabout, take the second exit off the roundabout signposted Ring Road – Town Centre – Newbury A343. Continue along the Ring Road (passing “Stannah Lifts”) on your right-hand side.
  • Continue over the next roundabout (still signposted Ring Road – Newbury A343). Continue along the Ring Road and “Charlton Sports and Leisure Centre” will be on your left- hand side.
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit, signposted Charlton, Hatherden & Tangley (road name – Goch Way).
  • At the next roundabout, take the first exit, signposted Charlton, Hatherden & Tangley, & as you exit the roundabout you will enter the village of Charlton.
  • You will then approach a small roundabout in front of a pub “The Royal Oak” – turn right and follow the road along (with the church on your right-hand side), DO NOT TURN OFF this road, and continue along, driving out of the village.
  • After approx. half a mile, you will then come to another roundabout, take the fourth exit, signposted Sports Centre, and follow the road round past Foxcotte Park (which is a football ground). You will then turn into a large car park and the Andover Rugby Clubhouse & pitches are located on your right-hand side
